My Moby Dick redesign project challenged me to reinterpret a classic literary work through modern graphic design. I explored the novel’s themes and symbolism to create a cover that balances visual storytelling with typographic clarity. The design process involved experimenting with colour palettes and illustration styles to capture the epic nature of the story while maintaining readability. This project deepened my understanding of how layout and typography can influence a reader’s first impression and engagement with a book. Using digital design tools, I crafted a cohesive visual identity that honors the original narrative while giving it a fresh and contemporary look. The experience highlighted the power of design in bridging literature and visual art, making timeless stories accessible to new audiences.
