My Nuit Blanche poster project allowed me to explore the dynamic world of contemporary art and city-wide events. I researched the history and significance of Nuit Blanche in Toronto, aiming to capture the festival’s vibrant energy and cultural impact through bold typography and immersive visual elements. Designing this poster challenged me to balance artistic expression with clear communication, ensuring that the information was both eye-catching and accessible. Throughout the process, I experimented with colour gradients, geometric shapes, and layout techniques to evoke the festival’s spirit of creativity and community engagement. This experience enhanced my ability to conceptualize thematic designs and use digital tools to transform ideas into compelling visuals. Nuit Blanche’s importance as a cultural event inspired me to create a design that reflects the excitement and diversity of the arts in a modern urban setting.
