To create my inforgraphic, I did my research on Sega and their consoles. I separated them into three eras. The first being early days explaining their first few consoles, followed by the golden age where their more notable consoles such as the Sega Genesis and Sega CD, and lastly the innovation and decline where the last of Sega’s consoles, notably the Saturn and the Dreamcast were released. The next phase was the sketches and I listed three sketches involving rings or emeralds in different designs. For my final design, I combined the two and added them both in a vertical shaped poster, while adding the emeralds behind the text with a lowered opacity for better reading. The colours I used were pink, blue, green, and yellow. What I learned from this infographic was how to properly structure information visually to tell a clear infographic. While Sega is no longer in the console industry, they continue to release games for current generation consoles and PC.
